Answer: 'What have you done to save thousands of dollars?'

This list is not comprehensive. It is not meant to be advice - though you are free to take it as advice if you choose to do so. It is not financial investment advice, as much as it is time investment advice. If you seek a structural prioritisation, you may want to read the list in reverse order.

Part I
Drive kancils. Only first editions. :)

Don't date people who can't either (a) make themselves happy, or (b) pay for themselves.

Science the shit out of food purchases.

Learn to write software.

Learn to do accounts.

Learn to read law.

Intermission

Part II
Discard filial piety.

Buy the smallest fucking real estate you can find, if you even need to touch that asset class at all (my mortgage instalment is RM308/mo)

Don't hang out with plebes (foodies, travellers, trendynistas, motorheads)

Repair your own damn clothes

Stay employed unless you no longer benefit from making mistakes with other people's money

Walk, don't run

Replace drugs with physical conditioning

Drink, water

Learn how to masturbate properly

Buy powdered caffeine (I got as far as instant coffee, k)

Don't buy insurance; you are going to die anyway

Accept the possibility of suicide; it will save you a lot of worrying
