The role of planning before rest
Cognitive resting involves actively (though not always consciously) deleting things from memory. One cannot rest a human cognitive apparatus, unless one actively deletes as such. One rarely will actively delete things unless one already plans what one wishes to load into the freed memory. Therefore in order to rest, one must plan the post rest activity.

Daily meditation, on a medium-rushy day
Good morning, world. Is it a good day to die? It should be. Is there well-defined work to do? There kinda is. Have I eaten? No. Ok, it is time to eat ... after remaining processes load into memory. Am I prepared to be manipulated beyond my control today? I guess that suitable reminder will do. Am I ready to ignore the preferences of other people? Another good reminder. Alright, time to make the rice ...

Are we not the same?
Most people are driven to things because they are unhappy. They gotta wake up, get out, dress up, talk a talk, walk a walk, because some unhappiness drives them to run. People who are happy don't understand this, at all. People who are happy are simply not motivated to do anything - except when they get bored. These types of people are not the same. And maybe we will never understand each other.
