"Malay tears."
Someone asked in a Malaysia Travel Group what unique souvenirs they could get in Malaysia.
I commented, as quoted, without sarcasm. There is no other region of the world which identifies so strongly as "Malay", and here our outrage based on racial identity is a day to day affair ... there is, really, an abundance of said liqueur.
My comment was removed, and I was given a warning by the group administrators, something about kindness, so I am reposting it here.
In another group, someone asked about the best anti-aging cream. Of course, I commented, "ice cream".
Switching back to hipster cafe mode ... perhaps Malay Tears should be a flavour of ice cream.
