Political Cognition, and the Commensurability of Experience

There are a few common dimensions of currency :

1. Time
2. Memory a.k.a. experience
3. Money
4, 5, 6, etc. ... materials, energy, goods, and services ( services being operations on goods etc. )

Most people are literate at quantifying all but #2.

Some of us quantify #2 better, which is to say we have an abnormal degree of cognition about it.

Conversations between people with different economic literacies can be interesting. Sometimes we are lucky enough to find people who are literate in the same ways as ourselves. The rest of the time, we just negotiate politely, as politicians without clear language. Such is power and intelligence in general.
