Words of Royal Reference, in the Malay Language : in a Nationalist Context

 I :

Reflection on political language and group boundaries. I'm basically a GLOBALIST - I am generally oriented to prefer one-world government, and to some fanciful degree the transhuman evolution of humanity into something like the borg.

Nation :

The main context in which I support NATIONALISM, is when sub-national tribes/classes/groups are engaged in feudalism which reduces economic welfare for a nation as a whole.

In Malaysia we have a few classes of citizen. The Malay rulers, the common Malay, the native peoples of Sabah and Sarawak, the other native peoples, and everyone else, are the main classes.

National Language :

The Malay language, as deemed NATIONALISED becomes a matter of interest to me. It carries with it traditions of certain phrases and terminology which are classist, and oriented towards the Malay rulers. In my own use of such phrases and terminology, I may from time to time apply those in reference to the Nation, instead of applying them in reference to a ruler. This may or may not be regarded as a form of disrespect, which may or may not be criminal in Malaysia at this time.

So that is what I think about when I use the Malay language.
