What is politics? And how are children educated about it? Here is a brief introduction. 

Stealing, killing, raping, etc. are easy. Doing these legally is more difficult. How? Lesson 1.

Happiness, grief, excitation, joy, anger, etc. occur in nature. But their natural role is to organise meat. How? Lesson 2.

Communication is a popular topic. But it can be defined to mean literally the same thing as control. How? Lesson 3.

These things should be understood, before a child is 12.

notions of maturity

 Public ethics and health, and civility, are based on notions of what is "good". ( Good is called "mature", when we tolerate badness in juveniles, etc.)

For some, a mature individual has no dependence on other members of society. And a mature society makes no demands of such dependence upon its adults.

For some, a mature individual MUST have dependence on other members of society. And a mature society MUST demand dependence between adults.

These are conflicting definitions of good.

It is immature of people to place, or to seek to place, emotional dependency upon their partners. 

Because it has become a common method of subjugating the population, many people feel it is normal, ideal, and healthy. 

But I find it to be sickly behaviour. 

And it is likely I will spend half my mating life explaining my point of view, without a desire to argue too finely about it.

Bangsa, Agama, dan Kelola

Peristilahan : "bangsa, "agama, dan "kelola".

1. Pada dasarnya ...

Setiap satu terma ini niskala, dan penggunaannya selalu mencetuskan salah faham.

AGAMA. Ia mampu merujuk kepada (A) pendirian yang tidak rasmi, ataupun (B) keundangan rasmi.

BANGSA. Ia mampu merujuk kepada (C) perkauman yang tidak rasmi, ataupun (D) kenegaraan rasmi.

KELOLA. Ia bersemantik semacam "kyber" dari Yunani kuno, dan "kamudi" dari Jawa kuno, dan telah disesuaikan menjadi tatakelolan ( "tadbir urus", "governance", "kybernetike" ).  ( Ia berhubung dengan istilah sibernetik, iaitu sains pemahaman sistem sebab-akibat berlingkar, sama adanya semula jadi atau buatan, tapi topik itu lain sikit. )

2. Jadi ...

Di mana-mana juga, AGAMA merupakan pendirian, dan pemahaman terhadap hubungan antara seseorang dan persekitarannya (A). Manakala, hanya di kawasan yang berkelolaan rasmi, agama seseorang itu terjadi lah keadaan rasmi, di bawah perundangan (B). Keadaan ini selari dengan gagasan keBANGSAan (C, D).

3. Seterusnya ...

Seseorang itu mungkin lah berpendirian berumat agama X, tetapi oleh sebab kedudukannya di kawasan yang dibawah perundangan rasmi ke-atas X, di mana umat rasmi X bertanggungjawab ke atas pelbagai cukai masa, tenaga, kewangan, kejenayahan, dan sebagainya ... dan oleh sebab seseorang itu tidak mahu dibebankan dengan tanggungjawab itu ... jadi seseorang itu mungkin akan menafikan keumatan-X-nya secara rasmi.

4. Akibatnya?

These are simple things, which all children should study, and master. Yet these are common views which adults will hide from others. They do so out of shame, or fashion, or for political advantage. Politics and economics are here to be understood as the same thing.

who actually pays for therapy?

I've noticed a pattern in folks, who commit themselves and their funds to therapy. 

1. They're not necessarily short of people to talk to. 

2. They're averse to spending large amounts of time working through the details of their thoughts, so they do it only for very small fractions of their time. 

3. Sometimes, they aren't limited in time ... but they do prefer the privacy of formal counsel, in a protected environment. 

4. Therefore, to friends and neighbours, their capacity to analyse their thoughts discursively may not be available as a social activity. 

After all, if they were comfortable discussing themselves at great lengths, and without secrecy, they would not need to pay for protective services.

One of the quick napkin calculations I ran a few months back before taking a break from computational work was ... to figure out how many voxels fit in a number of bytes. E.g. you can use abstract data structures such as spheres or cubes or tetrahedrons wtv. For ease, consider cubes. A 2-cube is 8 bits. A 4-cube is 8 bytes ... and that's good enough for roughly guessing the shape of a thing already. A 16-cube is only 0.5 KB ... but you can describe most common household items with it.

Then we start to refer back to the sorts of chip hardware being used for popular software today : they're matrix math ops used to run markov models, but they will eventually be repurposed to run spatial ops. It goes full circle back to what game chips were originally made to do. LLMs are just a distraction because neuromorphic architecture helps with language games. But languages are just abstract games over underlying reality, whose data is ~4D geometry. We will see more of such software, soon, in anthropomorphic agents. ""

But, let me step back and accept that you probably mean lay-psychology, or natural language psychology, i.e. the notion of human minds as the man on the street appreciates them. Sure, it is useful to model all sorts of romantic familiar behaviour. But that just puts such efforts in the same spot as formal psychology above.

Supposed to be in a period of celebration for a few years. But plagued by complaints from social projects. So, need better curation of social projects to avoid huge and unnecessary liabilities. 

I was discussing strategy with a friend. They suggested reverse psychology, and i said I had no room to add complexity via irony.

Needy partners can be fun. But the ones who actually get into moods they can't adjust themselves are the issue at hand i think. Some people consider it "normal human needs", i consider it pathological lol. Different cultures i suppose. Need to assess candidates on a case by case basis
