state vs federal scope of law

"Nik Elin vs Kelantan" has been ping-ponging for a few years, and the general dialectic since Merdeka.

It would seem, that one of the things preventing each state from making some activity, X, subject to state syariah law ... is merely that there has at least once been a Federal law about X.

The argument roughly is, X is under criminal law, and we define that it is criminal because there is a Federal law, L, on X. But, what if there had never been the law L? The state might then have had the freedom to govern X under state syariah law.

Curious. 

talent management : three factors

A middling good day. Not much accomplished, but some reified progress, and a lot of time to think about society. I don't often think about other people, because they seem like such sad creatures. I think the worst are in this 2x2 quadrant : 

1. Lacking in aptitude ( dumb )

2. Lacking in risk tolerance ( timid )

In the development of talent, it is always so MUCH easier to work with a substrate that is in at MOST one of those quadrants. Perhaps to make clearer their motivations, another dimension :

3. Lacking in pain ( rich )

3., motivates 2. of course, so it is most sorry to see the hording of resources by poor talents that cannot develop it. However it is of course their civil right in capitalistic environments, so we must forgive the oxygen etc. which are spent by them on nothing.

I believe the communally affirming thing is to let sleeping dogs lie. We have more excited pups to pander to, and also unexcited pups with more potential output.

sex response analysed

On my walk to the post office, I noticed a gate had been built over a public road. Now I am in line at the police station to report it. 

There is nothing to do here, so pursuant to my earlier thoughts on social language and protocol : I have decided to analyse the human sex response.

When people say they are "turned on / horny / want it", it has variety of meanings. Neither of these are broadly sufficient or necessary, but narrowly each is tautologous.

1. The relevant organs are sensitive to direct haptic or vibrational stimulus, resulting in pleasure.

2. The psychical construct of personal identity, whether presocial instinct or social construct, has a dopamingeric/ teleological loop initiated but not closed.

Discussion :

"from each according to their ability, to each according to their need", IMPLIES a market economy. The control i.e., communication system for abilities and needs, as contingencies for routing resources, is a market. 

But this does not imply capitalism, which is that weak governance of the market is allowed to make the market ineffective. 

public disagreement is hate speech

When you make a public statement, by way of mere appearance, or verbal expression : if someone disagrees with you, it is more likely not a disagreement with your ability to express yourself ... but a disagreement with the nature of your being. 

Except where illegal, the price of public life, is public disagreement ... 

boredom and non-violence

A friend likes to say they never see me angry. I like to say my dominate emotion is boredom. Mechanistically, boredom is just non-violent anger, so it is probably the same thing. As Banner said, the secret to being always present is being always angry, which nicely compliments Curran's trope on eternal vigilance. This probably tautologises how I am always studying - in pleb speak it is a matter of passion.

Altogether these days I am increasing my success at minimising dating emotionally fragile people. Limited time and money make me pickier. I already live most of my life in a country full of tropicalised snowflakes, so I really should minimise adding to my troubles with personal relations of the same.

Peranan hakim ada satu saja : mentafsir undang.

Jadi jihad antara pentafsiran hanya boleh kita pantau sebagai bukan hakim. Nak lawan apa2 pun kena jadi hakim, atau cabangan eksekutif yang melantik hakim. Iaitu semua ini kerja politikus.

Perbezaan antara jihad itu ketara la. Sepihak Malaysia mengiktiraf kitab kuno sebagai perkataan yang termaktub maksudnya selama2nya. Sepihak Malaysia mengiktiraf perundangan yang termaktub semasa sahaja kerana rakyat secara peribadi ada kuasa untuk mengundi ahli dewan yang bakal melangsungkan pemindaan teks undang, walau apa teks itu. 

Jadi perlawanan keterusan berdekadabad ... majulah Malaysia, walau selalu berperang saudara. Itulah kedukaan sebangaa kita.

weights of the world

My main competency is neuroplasticity, which is to say I know a bunch of things about how to un/learn things, due to a combination of aptitude and training.

Generally I have been able to speak with people of any class. But what I find quite challenging, is to simultaneously load the full depth of experience between different sets of people, and to plough through them for synergistic opportunity. 

That just takes mem and comp. But minimally lossy compression always helps, when possble.
