Pleb Business, and its Discontents

Disdain for customers : 

- parents spending on children

- women spending on beauty

- men spending on women

- sick and aged spending to live longer

- poor people trying to make money

- rich people trying to not lose money

These behaviours often pop up as a cohesive list in memes about how to make money. The behaviours are what have been selected for in evolution, which brings us to the present.

To dislike these things, is to dislike the perfect past participation of humanity. Yet one can like these things, without finding them stimulating.

Not everyone is interested in the same things that their ancestors were.

Risks of Offense at Work

Let's work together. Let me see how to not offend you, since we want to work together.

Is it not ok to ask you what you mean, if something you say is not understood? ( Risk 1 )

Do you have an unshakeable belief, that some things are already commonly understood? ( Risk 2 )

Do you believe in penalising people, who don't share your unshakeable beliefs? ( Risk 3 )

Do you believe that incentive (penal and rewards) systems should not be explicitly forewarned to actors? ( Risk 4 )

Religion in Malaysian Governance

Malaysia has laws about religious speech offense. However Malaysia also tries, at the executive layer, to formalise definitions of religion to a very limited set of culture.

Basically there are concepts in Malaysian governance such as "all religions must have X quality" so we do not accept religions which have Y. Those who claim to have properties Y in their religion will, effectively, have fewer rights under the execution of Malaysian governance.

That is a natural folly, lol.

So I dread the day i have to show up in court to debate philosphy of language, philosophy of religion, metaphysics (technical), and law.

But this risk is given as a part of living in Malaysia. Such is life.

Religion and Politics

1. Religion, regardless of whether it turns out to be true or false, is administered by humans.

2. Therefore the administration of religion is intrinsically political.

3. If you are in organised religious, but deny the political structure of its administration, we may say you are naive.

4. This is certainly not limited to theistic faiths : humanism ( closely related to socialism and scientism ), and capitalism, are religions too. 

Ubiquitous disabilities, uncommonly recognised as such

1. inability to be immediately happy/ aggressive/ nonchalant/ desirous/ sad

2. inability to thrive in solitude

3. inability to be constructive without monetary interactions

4. inability to articulate a direction for the species, and to explain how it relates to the present 

5. inability to actively fill any gap of knowledge about the state of affairs in the world, based on publicly available information 

hm.

Taking Grants for Granted

Grants and subsidies can be controversial.

1. Many things in life are unfair. The capitalist principle is to take. Period.

2. It is fair to say, the design of programs and investments is bad for the nation. But that is a parallel concern to the activity of capitalism.

People get confused about operational mandates. Helps to keep them separate. 

Entity A : can be fully capitalistic

Entity B : can have a charitable mandate

Entity C : can blend a social mission which is forced to cohere with limited capitalism

And i can own shares in all simultaneously.
