It remains an egregious mistake among each new generation of Malaysian political activism ... when it treats (poor) police standard operating procedures, as if those are novel acts of retaliation or oppression from Putrajaya.
Conflating (a) Putrajaya's term-to-term offenses against the nation as its constituency, with (b) the longstanding offenses against democratic sensibilities by the police bureacracy in Malaysia ... weakens efforts to undermine both (a) and (b).
Intelligent political activists could do more to tease out the nuances of these separate, interlinked, issues ... in order to divide, and address them separately.
