Subject (S) impresses upon themselves, that others (O) are placing expectations (E) upon subject + subject becomes anxious (A) as a result of feeling obligated (Ob) to match E.
Where does this come from, and how does it come about? The mere placement of E upon S should not result in A, except if ... S has been repeatedly conditioned by trauma in the past, for failing to react to E with A. So,
- Trauma Reaction 1 : S reacts to E, with A
- Trauma Reaction 2 : S preemptively assumes E, as a matter of hypervigilance
