Observation: Foreign Worker Visa Statuses in Malaysia

Was talking to the security guards in my area. SIC. Foreign workers in Malaysia. Here are the various visa statuses stories I have been told (truth, myths, and legends - I'm not sure which is which).

• - Real Visa, obtained Over The Table, via a Publicly Known Method (mode 1a), working with the officially linked business (mode x)
• - Real Visa, obtained Over The Table, via a Publicly Known Method (mode 1a), working with some non-officially linked business (mode y)
• - Real Visa, obtained Over The Table, via a Method Hidden to the Public (mode 1b) (modes x, y)
• - Real Visa, obtained Under The Table (mode 2) (modes x, y)
• - Fake Visa
• - any Real Visa (expired), Real Visa-Extension-Application-In-Progress Documents, (modes 1a, 1b, 2)
• - any Real Visa (expired), NO Real Visa-Extension-Application-In-Progress Documents, instead some 'receipt of payment' issued by a broker, agent, or such

And all I ask is for someone high enough in Putrajaya... to design a more transparent system from scratch. And to deploy it with fireworks in the near future.
