- If they had a bleeding heart, I would often be asking them to clean up after themselves and to keep it off the floor.
- Low common interest, unless they found my general advice useful, or enjoyed having me help with dishes, chores, etc.
- Generally I am prejudiced towards classifying bleeding hearts, as basically disabled people.
- I use the term loosely, as the bleeding heart is a loosely defined metaphor.
- My parents were both bleeding hearts, and it caused me no end of inconvenience in childhood.
