I always forget to normalise the difference between my strategic framework, and those of my peers in the world, before making comparisons between us for my own benchmarking purposes.
Most people employ a strategy of cooperationalism and interdependence, providing many shortcuts to systems development.
Relative to that, I have employed a strategy of isolationalism and independence, which keeps my political costs down, but requires that I develop systems at a slower pace.
