Malaysia's Social Contracts

In Malaysia, it is popular to refer to a social contract, which was optional for people in the neighbourhood at the time of independence.

That however, remains irrelevant to anyone born in Malaysia thereafter. So I will politely decline to discuss those details in informal settings such as this.

The Federal Constitution is the one social contract which Malaysians now have in common. All other issues are a distraction from this one.

Teach the Constitution, to children.
