Economic Value of Individual Experience

The mainstreaming of AI is excellent progress, about the point of view that personal experience is overrated.

In social psychology, we find that people who view themselves individually as distinct from others will tend to place a higher value on their own sensory experiences, wealth, and power in society. Whereas people who do not so clearly distinguish between themselves, and society in general, may not place such emphasis upon their individual person.

If you know anything about me, I'm a smart alec that thinks the latter is the most efficient mode of operations, but that most people are just too individually dumb to acquire that point of view. So I spend much of my life making fun of individualists because I think they are dumb fucks.
