Home food needs salt supplementation for some performance situations.
Before cognitive/desk or muscle work : I need to raise salt levels. ( Various minerals. )
After that, a period of flushing via water intake combined with inactivity helps to complete a cycle. This appears to help with cellular resets / detox.
Not the hippy nonsense detox : just the notion that high metab from loaded work builds up outputs to excrete from nerves and muscles
There's some documentation on sleep/non-sleep mineral clearance rates. But not so much on performance/post-performance.
