Boredom is recharging
Today I obtained the small epiphany that boredom is a state of net resource accumulation: working memory is recovered, until enough is obtained to load an entire program's simulations, and once those have been iterated, the cost of a wet run is very much reduced. I was bored for ten years, no wonder I had enough memory and energy to run this little cafe for the five years after the first ten. But do I have it in me to keep running this perpetually? Well, we shall see. One always follows the money, and in rhe absence of new money, one makes do with what is available. Not yet bored - so still spending energy faster than I can obtain it.
