Algorithm for temperature checking a sensitive partner

 Algorithm for temperature checking a sensitive partner (lover, staff, friend, boss, neighbour, etc.) :

1. Do you currently have the headspace for an analysis and review of our relationship?

Yes: GOTO 2; No: (optionally schedule time, then) END

2. I have a list of concerns, phrased in the form of questions. For each question, please elect to ENGAGE or PASS.

When the list is empty, END

List:

  • (a). Time: am I consuming too much of your time*?
    • [ * "time" is optionally expandable to "money", "energy" etc., but the basic dimension is time; this is useful model, but not a necessary one]
  • (b). Space: am I consuming too much of your (physical, or cognitive [memory]) space?
  • (c). What do you enjoy about our recent interactions?
    • { "look forward to", "would trade other opportunities for", "think of as definitive", etc.}
  • (d). What do you dislike about our time together?
    • { irks, irritates, annoys, offends, disgusts, disappoints, scares, horrifies, terrifies }
  • (e.) How else might you like us to interact, if not already described so far?

3. Discuss hypothetical scenarios for more (c) and less (d).

4. For (e) and (c,d,3) begin with gap analysis, follow through with quantity survey, feasibility study, and scheduling.

5. Review all points to conclude this iteration of review
