Finally got around to testing arginine+citrulline supplements, to see if these are actually why I like garlic and watermelon's physiological effects on my work-out.
... chibai lagi, NO is linked to aspirin's use for cardiovascular therapies ...
summary relevance :
- perhaps you've heard of aspirin being used as a therapy for vascular disease patients
- it works on a pathway related to this COX thing, which reduces blood clots
- COX pathways have cross-talk/traffic with NO pathways (nitric oxide, the gasotransmitter I'm studying)

- so aspirin is related to viagra via COX ( haha )
"It was shown that aspirin directly stimulates the activity of endothelial nitric oxide (NO) synthase without affecting the expression of endothelial NO synthase. Increased NO formation was found to underlie aspirin-induced sustained protection of endothelial cells from oxidant injury."
