Sometimes it is too much to persuade someone that they have misjudged themselves. A baby step is, persuading someone that they have misjudged other people. This lets them reflect on their capabilities without overloading their personal integrity. Once they have reflected on it, and achieved euthymia, they will be closer to self-awareness of their misjudgments of themselves. Such is hope.
