35 years of circling a target

Today was all about conic sections. If it seems odd that I am spending time on elementary mathematics (certainly not pure, here), I guess it's just nice to be able to get to things after 35 years of "maybe I'll do it later".

Non-trivial diversification for risk-management :

1992-2000 : didn't rush into maths, just did what all the slowpokes around me were doing.

2001-2004 : strategic delay to understand macroscopic architecture of the history of all ideas. Accidentally discovered some microaesthetic things, but that's a secondary point.

2005-2023 : strategic delay to understand commerce and other shit that poor, dumb people do.

I must say, I aim to be equally balanced in STEM and anthropology. I won't say "humanities" as that's a thoroughly messy bag, and anthropology is much more precise. I suppose this career carries its own costs.
