Sh+Sk secession is reasonable. It would increase political stability, at the expense of economic development/capital.
But as the historical reasons for including Sh and Sk are DUE to the original plan for the inclusion of Sg ... that is, to maintain a bumi-non-bumi ratio ... the exit of Sg was the same sort of secession as the proposed one above, separating two poles to respectively consolidate federal power in each one.
From a Malay nationalist perspective,
1. the combined manoeuvre of maintaining the bumi count while retaining the ratio in 1963, followed by lowering the non-bumi count in 1965, is naturally to be followed by
2. the decades then afforded for the Peninsula bumi count to increase relative to the Peninsula non-bumi count, which as of now allows consolidated bumi dominance on the Peninsula, even if 1963 is completely undone.
