Awake again. Monitoring excess inflammation from exercise, and its effects on sleep. While it feels like I slept less easily, I spent more time dreaming, which is a functional benefit. More monitoring required. Maybe any stimulus indicating a need for restructuring and optimisation is a stimulus for neuroplasticity. I trained myself to sleep without dreaming, in college - maybe it was assisted by lack of stimulus. I retrained myself to dream more per session of sleep, while working on the 24-7 project, in order to get better rest. Each mode has its optimisation, I suppose.
