The role of a social / political activist is to exert force. There are various strategies about this.

• - kamikaze : assert force at any cost
• - martyr : assert force until restrained 
• - troll : assert force, avoid becoming restrained
• - irritant : assert force, beneath the threshold that triggers negative feedback in the form of attempts to restrain the activists
• - subliminal : assert force, beneath the threshold that triggers a conscious reaction
