Usually once I have alerted myself to DFTs 1-3, I can start strategising remedial action. Preventive action is possible if I am more conservative in the first place. Actively avoiding conservativeness is often a lazy strategy to detect dumbfucks. However, there are of ways to work harder in the detection of dumbfucks, if one cares to avoid hurting them in the process of discovery.
