I think I need to print business cards, defining the use of the word "friends" to mean folks who enjoy communicating with each other.

It also has to deny that any party owes the other any specific obligation, not even a quality of behaviour, unless mutually contracted. 

There are too many people running around with their heads full of ideas about what to presume from other people.

Of course, this is just about cultural preferences between high-context and low-context.
