thermodynamics, transcendental idealism, and maths

Remedial maths reading has led me today to the principle laws of thermodynamics. Maths as a language, evolved from the pursuit of laws in physics, and thermo maybe can be considered a "pure category" of experience, in the sense that it tautologically linked with our perception of time, isn't it?
