why people boring?

Personal economics vary. Here's where I find myself over 43 years.

1. I usually seek rewards from myself, not from the world.

2. I usually don't give the world what it asks from me, rather I give it what I want it to become.

3. I usually expect to be penalised for this, but I am pleasantly surprised when a reward is involved.

I think about this a lot because it strikes me as something that scares other people.

1. They usually seek rewards from the world, not from themselves.

2. They usually give the world what it asks from them, instead of what they want it to become.

3. They expect to be rewarded for this, and are unpleasantly anxious when a penalty is involved.

Why are people so boring?
