knowledge x money

Today's concept of interest is, optimising for knowledge at the expense of financial gain. On a 2x2 plot, it veers off towards the axis of knowledge. This is the quadrant I have lived in for most of 2001 to 2026, except for about three years, spread across 2014, 2021, and 2022. I do wonder if I would have been able to gain more knowledge if I had prioritised making money any higher.
